In celebration of her new album “Nod to the Storyteller,” and the fifth anniversary of our first broadcast (Oct. 13, 2003 on Radio Margaritaville) Nadirah Shakoor joins Time After Island Time for an exclusive interview and a live, unplugged performance to give our listeners the first chance to hear her new project! Nadirah shares her philosophies on music, her observations on the many sides of Jimmy Buffett and an in-depth look at “Nod to the Storyteller,” her tribute to Jimmy Buffett. We’ll be playing a great selection of music and the songs performed by Nadirah Shakoor will make for a broadcast like no other!
In part 2 Nadirah joins us for more on “Nod to the Storyteller“, including discussion on the songs she composed and insight into her fellow Coral Reefers who appeared on the album. After returning from Paris, France with Jimmy Buffett she shares her perspectives on the many sides of Jimmy Buffett, who is on his way to becoming an International star.
