Dean, sporting Andy Divine? Parked in front row? Hope so. I'm not giving up yet on Pine Knob. It just must happen. At our rain out in Sept JB did say he'd return. So we shall sea. I'll go where he is. MI is easier for me than Chicago. We're all anxious. If I'm awake, I'm looking every minute for new news. Finzup, as all ways
We are all very nervious. Something is either creating indecision or they are just trying to time their announcements.
I check this discussion board 2 or 3 times a day.

Tonight he mentioned the new album and going on tour.

I should be adding a top to my pirate boat bar and perfecting my ice luge mold for the parking lot. Instead I am in holding pattern driving my family crazy.
I agree - something doesn't add up. Peter and Mac are scheduling events. Maybe a late and small tour. My guess is if it happens in the summer the Midwest will be the week of July 10. I think there will be only be 1 week a month tops
Maybe it's the "new normal" for Jimmy's scheduling. The shows in Key West were announced and were on sale well less than a month before the shows. It's not ideal as Jimmy probably has as many fans that travel to shows as anybody and it's tough to plan your time without knowing but maybe that's just the way it's going to be.
It's just odd how Jimmy announces shows compared to almost every other artist who drops the dates all at once. I can recall once in about the last 20 years when Jimmy did a video announcing the tour dates that year. Every other year it's one or two today, another couple next week etc.
It was too much tequila . . . . or not quite enough.

Agree with that week myself. Based on Riverbend schedule, Deercreek and Pete/Macs schedule that is pretty much the only week in July available.
We have Pete and Brendan for a house concert on 8/6 so I know that week won't be the typical NE leg.
On another note - 11 years ago today the Indy show was announced for 7/31 so, we may have just gotten "spoiled" in recent years with announcements in January.
If JB is interested in sharing stage w Jason Mraz. JM will be at Meadow Brook 7/29, Madison WI 7/28. Jimmy could slip into the Knob on Tues 7/25 perhaps. Booked so many lodging dates, in hopes of. Been to 30 shows so know the spin the Buffett roulette game. Hope to know soon so I can book train and rent-a-car. Anyday now finfriends. We'll know how far our destination will be to see our hero.
He's growing old-er, not up I'm sure! He deserves personal time. Besides he'll need time off from touring to sea if Hollywood 007 James Bond is a great fit. "Disrupting the James Bond Universe." I love it. Shake up the old morm with a new craze! Finzup. Sea ya soon tailgate pals, where ever, but not too long from now

In the late 90's and early 2000's (the is he mad at pine knob, time) he would announce the whole tour at once
Jimmys new album likely has multiple duets on it....
He has normally announced his summer dates by now....
I think Jimmy is going out on the road with someone else...that someone else who is currently doing a spring tour and hasn't announced his shows for summer either....
Im going pop a YouTube video on how it's got me thinking
It may not be Jimmy holding things up. How many of his shows sell out? If I am a venue, I am not giving him a prime date and at this point may be waiting to hear from other acts before confirming Buffett for a weeknight. Even if just one or two venues do this to him, it can screw up a whole tour.
There could also be insurance issues. We know he has not been 100% healthy. Could be harder than expected to get the necessary insurance.
This is like waiting to sea if your lottery ticket is a winner. I'm a Buffett addict. In a great way. I just hope the opportunity arises for me to join Jimmy and the Reefers in person, again. I'm almost selfish. Went to a show in Chicago 1998 never missed one since. We'll, covid maybe. But 2 shows in 2021. MI and FL. This anticipation isn't so fun. Thinking of all of you parrotheads in my same boat
Looking at the pine knob schedule and I'm still shocked that there are tons of Thursdays and Tuesdays available and even more shocked that prime slots on Saturdays are open.
They have said there lineup is nearly set.
I still believe if he is actually going out that this is a contract issue with another act or acts.
