The buzz just isn't there for this show like in the past is it? I'll still make the roadtrip and have a good time but it just doesn't feel the same.

The buzz is still there just on on this board anymore. Too many other outlets that divided the masses attention span. It has been like that here for a few years but once you get to GW you see it is just as awesome as it always has been.

The same BN tailgate happens every year, albeit maybe with not as many props and structures but the people are all there. I think we have all grown older and wiser, let others bring the props and structures and we can just walk over and enjoy them and to have to deal with the construction/deconstruction. This coming from a guy who for many years brought a full *bar, props, beach sand etc..... to every show all over the northeast.

*That bar has been purposed as a work table in my basement, aghhh the stories it could tell

There is a buzz. Maybe not here where it would be a 100 pages easily. Tailgating may not what it had use to be like with the BN group. You do have a BN page on Facebook now. But , there still a buzz once in the lot. This year , probably more so , due to him playing Fenway , and a lot of BN people skipped out on it.

I baled on Fenway last year - and this year the wife tapped out. After 2017 and the sh*t show of getting out of the lots - she's done.
One Associate PH has retired.....BUT
Another to take her place!!
So in 2019 I have an entirely new purpose -
This year, I'll be bringing my son to not only his first JB show, but his 1st concert ever.
I need to break him in properly!

(added bonus he's a licensed paramedic..LOL)
Hence the question about pre-game warm-ups - the indoctrination should be thorough and correct..

Just heard from someone , who received a voice message from LN , that lots open at 3. Not sure if it's a generic message ( most shows the lot does open at 3)or not. Wondering , if others received that message. Looking to confirm the rumor.

All the action is on Facebook these days. In the BN group there. Plan is to meet at Shaws at 11am, Tam is back this year and taking charge. We also have a BN FB group message, if you are not on that group chat send me a message and I'll add you. But message me through FB because I don't come to BN much more than once a month.
