License to Chill Review

Post by finsupnh »

An honest review sent to me by my good friend, T2...
So I got the new disc. Is it time to trade in my hula skirt for a pair of chaps? I'm afraid at this years show I'll be drinking moon shine out of a boot instead of Margaritas out of a coconut. Call me what you want for hoping the License to Chill Tour doesn't mean too many songs from the new disc will be played. Now I say this after only a brief review of the disc. I'll give it more listening just like I did the Beach House on the Moon disc before my full review. Just promise me we won't be searching for our lost doggie instead of salt shakers. Oh and no geetars to the left or right. All right I feel better. I still love him (J.B.). Just like any love, when you fall in love, people will change and you must learn to accept their changes. Or just remember why you fell in love with them in the first place.

I think people that feel Buffett has changed just because of the "country" slant given to License To Chill must not have been paying attention all these years as it's definitely an influence that has always played a vital part in his music.
