Buffett performs in Nashville and talks about his new album

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band performed a private show at The Steel Mill in Nashville TN on Tuesday April 11th. Jimmy talked about his new album “Equal Strain on all Parts” and how he got the name based on his grandfather’s description of a nap. He said they have been busy working on the album and will be out on tour with new shows very soon. The set list from the show is now available.

  1. Cool, great, keep heading North. Your parrotheads across the great Midwest would like to say hello, sing along and meet again. I’m partial to Pine Knob. I think your first engagement there was 41 yrs ago. But, hey who’s counting. 🦜🌴🦜

  2. Great! Can’t wait for the new album, and we hope Jimmy comes to Jones Beach this year.
But Please: We’ve heard Little Miss Martha for so long now, it’s time to give her up.
We know Mac is great. Lets try something else.

      1. HA! Yeah, I know. Agree Jimmy needs a break.
But my point was, after two years or hearing “Little Miss Martha” the novelty has worn off. Let Mac play something different.

      1. Couldn’t agree more. There is so much more Mac could be doing there.

If he’s not looking to sing, an instrumental medley of his solo tracks could be a good way to shake it up.

        1. Yes, Andy, totally agree! Would love to hear something different from MAC during Jimmy’s wine break.
Let’s hope Jimmy gets the message.
          Fins Up!

  3. Hope Jimmy comes up to see his New England Parrotheads! Saw him in Bangah (Bangor), Maine last year! Was great! Fins up from Massachusetts! Go Celtics and Bruins!

  4. Hey Jimmy !!!! Two years in a row cancelled in Georgia … When are you coming back to Georgia ??!?!? We miss you !!

    1. Buffett did cancel a show scheduled for Augusta, Ga. in ’22, but did play in a new venue in Savannah in ’22.

    2. Unfortunately JB is not as popular locally as he once was. The area has become too urban. He will never play Lakewood again and he did not sell out Chastain in ’14, so he has downsized his venue choices when he plays in the area. It would not be a shock to see him play the Fox again.
