Buffett gets a hole-in-one

Jimmy Buffett is probably wasted away again in Margaritaville, enjoying a Cheeseburger in Paradise right now after a successful round of golf earlier in the day.

The “island escapism” music star is known for his Parrothead fans, but an eagle was on Buffett’s mind Saturday. But not just any eagle.

The 72-year-old singer shared a photo on his Instagram page celebrating a hole-in-one, rocking a New Orleans Saints hat and playing a Titleist 2.

We unfortunately don’t know what club was used, nor the yardage, or even where Buffett was playing on Saturday. What we do know is, Come Monday, Buffett will still be Havana Daydreamin’ about his ace.

    1. Me too. 72 years old and I have one eagle. Had blow in birdies a few times on par 3’s but that’s about as close as I’ll probably ever get to an ace.

      hit the stick, stopped just before the cup and the best one… viewed from the group on the tee box next to the green…. “ it went in and bounced out”

  14. A tropper, you know, a caddy, a tropper, a trop rocker. So, I tell them I’m a parrothead, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Bubba, himself. The son of the son of the Sailor. The wristbands, the grace, bald… striking.

    So, I’m on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one – big hitter, the Bubba – long, into a ten-thousand foot cactus, right at the base of this volcano.

    Do you know what the Bubba says? “Ganja lagoona… ganja, ganja-lagoona”.

    So we finish the eighteenth and he’s gonna stiff me. And I say, “Hey, Bubba, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.”

    And he says, “Oh, uh, there won’t be any money, but when you drink, on your bar tab, you will receive top shelf booze.” So I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.

    1. This is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. When you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.

  30. Congrats to the G.O.A.T. Cannot believe you folks talking about how “probably short yardage” and “a Par 3 course” and “even a blind squirrel” crap!! It’s a freakin’ Hole In One! This Parrothead on June 11, 2013 TriCities Golf Course Blountville Tenn. #5 on Pines Course 132 yds with a 9 iron Actually had started chemo two weeks prior. Only damn good thing that happened that year. Give Jimmy some love folks. It’s freakin Hole In One. Pretty damn awesome
