Workin’ and Playin’ in Atlanta

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band brought the Workin’ n Playin’ tour to the Gwinnett Center in Atlanta GA last night.

The set list from the show is now available. Buffett and the band played 27 songs including “Manana”, “Wonder Why We Ever Go Home” (last played October 18 2007 San Francisco CA), “Knees Of My Heart”, “The City”, and “Trying To Reason With Hurricane Season” for the final encore.

The Gwinnett Daily Post has a review of the show and tailgating photos: “Parrotheads transform Gwinnett arena into Margaritaville for Buffett concert

After around seven hours of tailgating, the party was far from over, as eager fans packed up and made their way into the arena for the show. Inflatable beach balls could be seen bouncing to and fro in a sea of tropically clad fans, who let out a booming cheer as a barefoot Buffett took the stage.

Buffett put it best when he told the crowd it’s Tuesday night but we’re “starting the weekend early.”
