From WVLT: “Margaritaville opens new hotel in Pigeon Forge”
The Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville Island Hotel has opened a new hotel at The Island in Pigeon Forge.
The hotel is part of the developers dreams to make the site a place for families to come and relax.
“We’re really excited about this. We’ve had eat, shop, play and now we’ve added the stay. We’re really excited and the people seem to really be enjoying themselves,” said Darby Campbell, one of the developers.
“You know, for us it really represented what we want to be as a relaxing fun upscale event for the whole family. So we think Jimmy Buffett and Margaritaville is more of that.”
The hotel features a rooftop pool and an atmosphere that reminds people their in the Smokies, but has an island feel.
The hotel says they already have a waiting list of folks who are trying to stay for the weekend. Managers say their first available room is open this Sunday.

Sounds like fun. We will visit next week. Please have someone with better grammar skills proofread your post. Mr. Buffett would be appalled.

Aw, don’t worry about proofreading. It’ll give some folks something to do.
As for the hotel, uh, a bit expensive for where it is.
