An array of local and national musicians will join Allen Toussaint in a special Dec. 5 concert to help New Orleans Artists Against Hunger and Homelessness (NOAAHH) celebrate its 25th Anniversary of service to the community.
The headliner-filled event, “Back Stage 2010,” will be held at Generations Hall at 310 Andrew Higgins Drive from 7-10 p.m.
NOAAHH Co-Founder Allen Toussaint will offer a special performance and welcome a host of talented musicians, many of whom are past performers from 25 years of NOAAHH’s concerts. Featured will be Dr. John, Jimmy Buffett, Dave Bartholomew, Jon Cleary, Irma Thomas, Little Freddie King, Deacon John and The Ivories and more.
A special Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a New Orleans legend and long-time NOAAHH supporter, who has performed locally, nationally and internationally for decades.
Tickets can be purchased online at NOAAHH.org. VIP tickets are $150 and will include second balcony viewing area and served hors d’oeuvres. General Admission tickets are $100. Students with valid student IDs can purchase tickets at the door for $50. The event is black tie optional. All ticket holders will enjoy an open bar and an outstanding selection of New Orleans dishes provided by Kajun Kettle and Southern Hospitality Catering who will be joined with local chefs.
