The Key West Citizen has an article on a new photobook by author Tom Corcoran: ‘Key West in Black and White‘
There will be an exhibit at the Key West Art and Historical Society’s Custom House Museum in association with the release of his new photo book from The Ketch & Yawl Press. The exhibit, "Key West in "Black and White" opens with a reception from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 2, with Corcoran and other guests present.
Buffett fans in town for the Meeting of Minds Parrothead Convention will get free access to the event at the Custom House by presenting their backstage pass.
He (Corcoran) also has credit on seven Jimmy Buffett album covers that feature his photos, including "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes;" "Son of a Son of a Sailor;" "Volcano;" and "Coconut Telegraph." Corcoran is also the man behind the lens for the official Jimmy Buffett calendar.
Corcoran, who befriended Buffett when country-singer Jerry Jeff Walker introduced him to Key West, co-wrote the Buffett hit songs "Cuban Crime of Passion" and the stadium favorite "Fins."
