From a column in the Boston Globe: Jimmy Buffett played to 114,000 people over his two nights at Gillette Stadium this past week, but he’s not sure if he’ll return to Gillette or to his beloved Tweeter Center next year. "Let’s get through this one first!" he said backstage at Gillette on Saturday, though he said he loved the Gillette experience. Saturday’s show included the encore "Defying Gravity" (which Buffett dedicated to Luciano Pavarotti) and a guest appearance from Cape Verde singer Elo Ferrier. "I’m working on helping him to put out an album," Buffett told us. Buffett also said he has authored a new book called "Swine Not?" (a fable about a pet pig in Manhattan that will come out next spring.) He told us that he’ll spend the next couple of days sailing around New England, per his custom after local shows.
