Margaritaville Las Vegas

I took a little side trip to Las Vegas this past Saturday after being in LA all week on a business trip. Of course, the first thing I did was try to find the new Margaritaville Cafe. It is located on the side of the Flamingo Hotel that faces Las Vegas Boulevard and is diagonally across the street from the main entrance to Caesar’s Palace. There are two entrances: one from the Flamingo and one from the street.

From what I could make out through the windows, the interior layout seems to be somewhat similar to the Orlando location. There is one large main floor with a stage on one side and the volcano bar on the other. The second floor is only half the length to accommodate hanging items on the ceiling and the two story volcano. The third floor is unique in that it is an open air facility that is about 3/4 of the length of the cafe. It is partially covered by what appears to be copper roofing and the half-walls cut like ocean waves and painted blue.

I took a couple of pictures that can be seen at
