McBride toured the state in a chartered Cessna Citation corporate jet leading a campaign fleet that included Florida balladeer Jimmy Buffett in his own jet. During stops in Orlando and two other cities, Buffett serenaded supporters with a modified version of “Margaritaville,” changing the refrain to: “But I know, this is all Jeb’s fault.”

McBride laughingly acknowledged that he was merely the warm up act for the main draw: Buffett, who sang Cheeseburger in Paradise and Margaritaville. “… Some people claim there’s a woman to blame, but I know it’s all the Bushies fault,” Buffett sang to cheers.
