From Raleigh Warner: Here’s the latest on the Virginia Parrot Head license plates. Currently I’m waiting on Jimmy’s attorneys to grant me a license to use the trademarked term “Parrot Head” in the design. I don’t know when I will receive it. I appreciate all the support and interest that I’ve received. I will post the design when it has been approved.
I’ve already begun receiving applications and payments. If you haven’t applied and are interested please send a completed form VSA-10 and a $10 check to me. Please make checks payable to “Parrot Head License Plate Fund”. My address is 14908 Greenhill Crossing Drive, Haymarket, Virginia 20169. The form can be downloaded from the Virginia DMV website at http://www.dmv.state.va.us/webdoc/pdf/vsa10.pdf.
Anyone in Virginia can apply for this plate. You don’t need to be a member of a club. Once we reach 350 prepaid applicants, people outside of Virginia will be able to order souvenir plates.
