Finally !! Jimmy is to receive an award !! Floridays Magazine out of Ft. Lauderdale is hosting the Florida Music Awards on April 1st in Dania Beach and Jimmy is to be given a “Lifetime Achievement Award”. I spoke to Andrea at the magazine yesterday and they are turning this into a major event. The Peter Mayer group is to appear among others, and they have contacted the Governor of the State of Florida to try to get April 1st designated as “Jimmy Buffett Day”.
