Stars and Promises Tour TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. We head to Cleveland to see Peter Mayer. It's 1 degree out and roads are snow covered here, but it will warm to the high 20's with clearer roads west.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

It’s also national chocolate day…..Ugh - how it pains me to acknowledge chocolate
. But, I'll take one for the BN team.
Chocolate lovers rejoice on National Chocolate Covered Anything Day! December 16th offers the chocolate day you've been waiting for. On this day, dip and drizzle your favorite foods in every kind of chocolate imaginable.
If you could cover anything in chocolate, what would it be? So many foods improve when we dip them in chocolate. Many businesses build their foundation on the practice of dipping food into chocolate. Whether you pick up a chocolate fountain or order a bouquet of a beautiful arrangement of chocolate-dipped fruit, celebrate!

Safe travels, Bill!
Linda, I merged your chocolate post with Bill's.
And I love chocolate, but usually dark chocolate is preferred. When I want a candy, it's usually fruity, but I won't turn down chocolate. Unless it has nuts in it.
Good morning, Ken!
Off to the hospital again. Hope the new stent can be put in successfully. And hopefully he got SOME sleep.
TTFN!

I like chocolate very much, but I'm not obsessed of fixated with it like some phriends I have. Therefore can't necessarily say I have a go to chocolate covered thingy, but slapping some chocolate on ice cream is a good thing.

Good morning. I'm a chocoholic, as long as there aren't any nuts in it. I had chocolate covered bacon once, it wasn't very good.
More good thoughts for E and Penny today.

My grand daughter lives 4 houses down the street. A little while ago this afternoon she called because there was a strange pickup
truck with two guys sitting in it in front of her house. She was nervous so Jeannette sent me down to see what's up.
It was about 30 degrees out but sunny so I walked down. I walked right by the truck and went into the driveway.
I set up a chair about 20 or 30 feet from them, lit up a cigar, and just sat there. Once in a while I would look over at the
two guys in the pickup. They left in a few minutes. Just part of the job of being a grandpa.

Here we go kiddies! Yesterday was fairly hot. Today and until the weekend the daytime maximums will be well north of 100°F.
Hopefully the weather guessers are right in that the overnight minimums will be relatively benign at around 65°F.
Off for an early practise shoot at the archery range, then I'll be hiding from the heat!
Rock on hippies!!!!!!

Re: Stars and Promises Tour TUESDAY@ the MSC
I had never seen the movie Fargo, but now that I've been to Fargo I was looking for it to show up on one of the cable channels so I could finally see it. It was on a few days ago and I DVR'd it to watch later. Later was today while I was doing laundry. I was disappointed for two reasons: 1. I didn't think it was very good, and 2. it takes place almost entirely in Minnesota. Why call it Fargo if hardly any of the movie is in Fargo? But at least I saw the famous woodchipper scene. I saw the woodchipper too, it's in the Fargo Visitor Center. The character who got wood chipped was played by Steve Buscemi, who went to my high school.

Good late afternoon / early evening, BNers!

Linda - I'm with you on the chocolate thing...
Penny- Sending more mojo CO-way. Hope that new stent does its job!
Big John - Kudos to you for the big bad Grandpa routine!
Did you get a plate number for the cops in case they come back?
Rabbitz - those cherries look amazing!
But please keep that god-awful heat down there!

Re: Stars and Promises Tour TUESDAY@ the MSC
Sooo, E's surgery to replace the plastic stent with a metal one, was supposed to take place early this morning. Then 5:00 this afternoon. And the canceled. I'm hoping it's cause the surgeon was tired, and I'd rather have him rested. At least he was finally able to eat something. What a very long day for everyone. The poison coming from his liver is making him often confused. I have to say that his nurse Bri was AMAZING. She did everything to make him comfortable. Back early to the hospital tomorrow morning. Sigh.
John, GREAT job in your protective services!!
Larry, I agree - I didn't care for the chocolate covered bacon. Ick.

The new shelf is installed in the laundry room.
It was more difficult than I thought since the washer and dryer were kinda in the way. There’s already a shelf there. The new one was placed 14” from the ceiling. We’ve got 9’ walls.

What a day went for PET scan but they couldn't do it since stupid me had a protein drink. Then the infusion. 7 attempts to get a line. Couldn't get a culture. 3 hour day turned into 7 hours. At least UTI diagnosed.
