In memory of Cindi (BG) & Ringling SAT @ the MSC
Just saw the news on Facebook that she passed away,
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Re: In memory of Cindi (BG) Saturday @ the MSC
Good Morning Ravi!
it's nice to see some folks (like you) that have been MIA...but obviously, not so nice under this circumstance.
Kevin & I never had the pleasure of meeting Cindi but we do remember her posts here and it's nice to read fond memories that folks are sharing about her.

Crisp fall morning here in Myrtle Beach. Our high temp today will still be about 10 degrees warmer than up north.
Heading out to a coffee gathering of girls from the neighborhood and then we will head to church for a TG dinner. We're hoping to meet some new folks today.
We're making plans for our Sarasota Thanksgiving week with some (former) BNers. Mitch (5'oclock parrot) & his wife (Bets) & Colleen (sistergoldenhair) & her husband Mike.
Have a wonderful Saturday.

Good morning. It's a little cool but the sun's shining. I have to check the TV listings to see which college football game I want to watch when the early games start at noon.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Hey all... checking in from ridiculously dry Massachusetts! I think it's now been 6 weeks since we had any real rain...
At first, it was nice to see so much sun, but now it is a bit scary to be so dry, especially with the leaves down... a recipe for brush fires.
But it is a beautiful 60° out now so I am taking advantage of it being the perfect day to set the oven to self-clean as I need to open the kitchen window for that!
While I never met Cindi in person, I do have great memories of "BG's" fun posts and reading about her concert escapades... condolences to her family and many friends.

Hi there! I worked on light displays for 6 hours and my knee is telling me it needs replaced.
Cindi won my second holiday raffle. She messaged me she would open it on Christmas as it was her only gift.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Afternoon all!
Yeah, the news breaks my heart, Ravi.
A little more sleep last night. 9 hours, instead a little over 2. And we have already done our grocery shopping for the week. We're gonna have a meal of snacky foods tonight, and pork tenderloin tomorrow.

How fun!!!
We have one, too! And I was going to clean mine over the next few weeks, but the cleaners cleaned it after the flood!Caribbean Soul wrote: ↑November 16, 2024 1:22 pm I am taking advantage of it being the perfect day to set the oven to self-clean as I need to open the kitchen window for that!

Never met in person but after chatting via BN Cindi sent me a can of FL sunshine. Like a thing you would get at Spencers in the mall.

Met both. Cindi at a Tampa Party and concerts. She was also, at Mohegan Sun for a show. Todd I met at a Tampa Party and concert. Also, Alpine x2. I'm not sure if he came to an East Coast show. Both are great people and entertaining in their own ways. RIP Cindi and Todd.
