Good morning, Linda. We sat with a former coworker and her husband at breakfast. They keep a large sailboat on Lake Erie and spend most of the summer on it. Their grand daughter is staying with them and working at an amusement park. Sounds like a sweet gig.

We saw a cute T shirt at a bar. It read I've only had one in dog beers.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Linda and Bill.

The Pelicans won last night. As poorly as they've played this year, the won 3 or the 4 games I went to. The way they scored the winning run was a little odd. The first batter in the 8th inning got hit by a pitch then he stole 2nd base, went to 3rd on a wild pitch and scored on another wild pitch.

Last night was the second time in the four games I went to that there was somebody in my seat when I got there. It isn't festival seating, there's a section, row and seat number on the ticket for a reason. Sit where you're supposed to be.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I've seen that same shirt a few times. Another one I liked was Beer Is My Spirit Animal.

That absolutely drives me nuts.

Good morning all.

I actually slept in until 6:30!! :) Made some breakfast, washing some bathroom rugs and mopping the floors, gonna make cookies later (not homemade) and a chicken/spaghetti thing for dinner. If I have energy left, I'm gonna clean out a dresser that's in our office.

SO glad to have an extra day off!! :D

Good Morning ladies & gentlemen......and everybody else
Tuned into some excellent football (LSU vs. USC) & tennis (American Tiafoe vs. Aussie Popyrin) last night. Cashed in around midnight.
Nothing special happening today. After a 5:00 wakeup call & briefly staying awake for a half hour this morning, did a big time stay in bed until nearly 9 am :o
Did a little "net" browsing this morning as saw Bachman-Turner Overdrive will be playing a casino in Michigan come early November. Considering looking into the show....but think I'll see if Youtube can provide some footage of how they currently sound live. Their definitely out doing their hits.
Gonna take care of some "homework" this afternoon & other tinkering around the house. Heading for a high of maybe 70 so definitely comfortable out.

Enjoy your Labor Day holiday gang!

That is rather odd indeed! But that would be an earned run, right? As the Hit-by-Pitch and 2 Wild Pitches are all on the pitcher!
And hey... if the Pelican's management learns of that stat you may get a season's pass for life!

Yes, it's an earned run. And the bad thing for the pitcher was after the first wild pitch he went on the strike that batter out, then they brought in another relief pitcher. The second relief pitcher threw the wild pitch that allowed the run to score.
