Let's Celebrate Jimmy This SUNDAY@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. WE lost the PHriend we never met yet a year ago, but through his music and our memories the party continues. So grab a booth or a stool at the bar and enjoy the day!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill and my fellow Parrot heads.

We have ben enjoying the Radio Margaritaville 100 JB song countdown. We had 2 neighbor couples here last night for drinks. It was great getting to know all of them better (while listening to JB in the background).

Have a fantastic September FIRST (can you believe it -- September already?????).

Good morning to all. I’m looking at some water and palm trees.

Good morning.

Jimmy Buffett, through his friendship with Steve Goodman, was a Chicago Cubs fan. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are the Class A minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. I'm going to the Pelicans game tonight. ⚾

Was supposed to have gone to Mansfield for the Keep the Party going thing but car issues stopped that from happening.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Morning everyone!

The past year has flown, as has summer. I am debating what I will do today, but I think I will end up staying home and just enjoying the sun and less humid temps.

Grateful for all JB has done for me. If someone would have told me that my entire persona would be based on a singer, I would have told them they were insane. I am incredibly happy that I ended up being crazy .🤪

Can’t imagine my life without all of you people 💕. Enjoy your day, however you spend it.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Afternoon all. Thinking back a lot today - just like everyone has been.

Didn't sleep well - been awake since 3:00am, and finally got out of bed at 6:00. And for who knows what reason, I have been battling a bloody nose for about 3 hours. :-? Non-stop and it was terrible. It finally stopped about 30 minutes ago, and I was able to eat breakfast. I made biscuits and gravy, so E got to eat before I finally could.

Doing some laundry, changing linens, and we'll have burgers on the grill later.

Here's to our friendships, and Mr. Buffett. [smilie=hearts.gif]

Evening all...
Spent today listening to the top entire 100 straight through. I had caught a lot of it in bits and pieces on Friday & Saturday, but today with no "real life" to get in the way I could take it all in. Damn, that man could write...
And now it is just past 5:00, I have enough tequila left for another Margarita toast (we did one on Friday for "Jimmy Buffett Day" so I'm off to bartend.

Hi there! We purged a closet containing old records that took 2 hours of shredding. RM made it a little easier.

I did a thing on Sunday for Jimmy. I'll have pics later. But yeah. It was good. I didn't get to listen to the Top 100, but I've read the list, and I'm glad it was a thing for so many to enjoy together. It's a good list.

Just an FYI... RM is still playing it I heard a lot if it again today. There are two different "versions" of it too, which is cool. One is all the original album cuts, and the other has many live tracks or later (think SYDKBH  ) album versions. And I believe if you have the SiriusXM app you can play it on demand.
