So - for a few of you/us/me we don't need a NATIONAL DRINK A BEER DAY but here it is.....

National Drink Beer Day toasts that malty elixir on September 28th, annually. Just as the Oktoberfest season comes to an end, the day reminds us to enjoy the world's most popular adult beverage.

Beer lovers have more selection than ever before in the ale and lager market. An explosion in the craft beer industry keeps the competition and the flavors robust, churning out new flavors seasonally. Beer connoisseurs quench their thirst with flavors drastically different from their grandfather's beers. Rootbeer to raspberry, caramel, and hints of herbs all tickle the palate when it comes to artisanal beers.

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this but wanted to share. Saw Mac last night at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head. He was amazing as always. Played a few more Jimmy songs than normal but that's to be expected. Talked about getting the call when he was told "Mac, you better come". He and Utley met at JFK and drove to Sag Harbor to see Jimmy. Said Jimmy still had that "smile as big as his head". Jimmy's last words to him were "hell of a ride" and then Mac picked up a guitar and played It's My Job. So of course I was crying again. He said the Coral Reefer Band would go on. Didn't say what that meant just that they were family and would go on.

He said the Coral Reefer Band would go on. Didn't say what that meant just that they were family and would go on.

I might need some coaxing but I think I can celebrate National Drink A Beer Day appropriately. I still have 2 Oktoberfest beers in the fridge and I think Oktoberfest officially ends next week so I'll drink one of them.

I'm going to our fav Mexican restaurant for lunch with a good friend today. No beer but a giant margarita will be consumed!
Still trying to make an appointment with a therapist. One did text me back and hasn't been seeing patients for 2 weeks since moving her father to assisted living. Like how dare she have an issue in her personal life? I'm joking of course.

Not really. Taking Pain pills and muscle relaxers and using heating pad. I am sure the pills are taking the edge off but I still hurt
Not as bad sharp pains but constant Sorenson. It will just take time.
