Yep. June 1 is the start of the 2023 hurricane season. There is a disturbance in the Gulf. Guess it is time to start gathering emergency supplies.

Hoping this will not be a dangerous season, but everyone that lives in a tropical area, pay attention and be safe until hurricane season is over.

Good morning.

Bad night for the Pelicans last night. The starting pitcher pitched great - no runs, no hits, 6 strikeouts in 5 innings. They took him out of the game and brought in a relief pitcher to start the 6th inning. The first 4 batters he faced went walk, single, triple, single. Three runs scored and they lost 3-0. I've gone to 2 games this season and they lost both of them. And I didn't even have a beer at the game, I had a bottle of water.

I was in the park walking but it wasn't a very nice day. It's 78 degrees but it's overcast, damp and windy. There isn't any rain in the forecast but it's one of those days that looks and feels like it's going to rain any minute.

Hi there! We did a 200 mile round trip attending the funeral of a PHriend's father in law. I was drinking with the diseased only 2 years ago and he was a fun 85 year old.

Haven't gone to work all week and tomorrow doesn't look good either. The big question in my mind is if I don't see any improvement in another day or two, should I go back to the local yocal ER or have Bryan drive me to the big city?
