National Hamburger Day SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. A day parrotheads can appreciate. Most weeks find me eating a burger somewhere.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill and BN!
As a matter of fact, we are having burgers for dinner tonight. Not grilling (can't have them at our apartments), but they're turn out great anyway. Broiling in the oven, or grill pan on the stove, is how I learned to cook them anyway.
It's a beautiful, sunny day outside. But I have stuff to do inside. Waiting for the Indy race to start.

Good afternoon Bill and Penny.
We’re home from our overnight adventure at “The hollow”. What a beautiful place our friends have. Large lot with woods everywhere. 2 homes in the street. And then a 1/2 mile one lane road to a dead end. Saw a few deer and turkeys.

Good afternoon. The rain finally stopped but it's still a lousy day. I've never been much of a car racing fan but maybe I'll watch the end of the Indy 500 while I have a beer.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Afternoon BNers
Had am allergy night, so I watched Las Vegas marathon. I always enjoyed that show.
Now watching and dozing through the Indy 500. Getting ready to restart after a wreck
They better hurry...Astros start at 3.

Aloha, BN.
We’re having a gorgeous stretch of weather for days. Did some yard clean up and now we’re ready for paella dinner with friends on the deck.
Happy unofficial summer!

Just finished planting the rest of my annuals and moving the sunflowers into the bed from the seeds I had started in a planter.
We haven't had a decent rain in a long time and looks like there's none scheduled for another week. This is not good for our farmers' summer crops.

Re: National Hamburger Day SUNDAY@ the MSC
Hi there! No rain for a week plus and I have a shallow, hand dug, rock lined well in the basement. This was my grandparent's house. I used to play with the hand pump on the back porch. The pump is near a garden pond by the back door. I power washed the decks to prep it for painting tomorrow. I rushed the washing to avoid using too much water.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: National Hamburger Day SUNDAY@ the MSC
Well the Indy 500 had a crazy ending! At least no one was hurt during all of the wrecks.
I've cleaned our humidifiers. Made a beef/gravy/noodle dish for dinners later in the week. Tonight is burgers and corn on the cob. Tomorrow I'm making bacon/eggs for breakfast and Queso Fundito for dinner. Laundry is almost all done. Only a few things to do tomorrow, and the rest will be kinda taking it easy. YAY!!

If you have to cook burgers inside, get yourself a George Foreman grill machine. They cook burgers perfectSMLCHNG wrote: ↑May 28, 2023 12:22 pm Good morning Bill and BN!

Back at the homestead after our trip “Up North” as us Michiganders call it. Of course therein lies the great debate as to what point geographically are you deemed to be Up North? Ask 10 different people may get 10 different answers
As I mentioned previously my daughter & grandkids are/have moved in with me. Plus Lab Harper & Cat which I can’t recall the name. Other Cat Cotton went to live with #1 Grandson.
OMG…. stuff everywhere. Yikes.
Story to be continued…..
Enjoy your Sunday night everyone
