Nat’l Beer Can Appreciation TUESDAY Day @ the MSC
Good morning BN’ers!
Today we celebrate Beer Can Appreciation Day in remembrance of the historic, monumental, and thirst-quenching day beer was first sold in cans! Ok, maybe many of you couldn’t care less about THE BEER CAN. But noticeably With the craft beer industry exploding many beer cans have become “pieces of art”. Cool stuff.
Quick shower, bowl of oatmeal & off to the work races for yours truly. Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning, Ken. I did 2 labels for a microbrewery that weren't used. They had a dark beer named after a flooded small stream called Church Run Mud.

Hi Linda! Nice that Kevin has an exit date. The light at the end of the tunnel will get brighter every day.

Good morning, If it's Beer Can Appreciation Day, I'll have to celebrate appropriately later today by showing my appreciation for what's inside a couple of beer cans.

Today's my day off and in keeping with the medical test theme of the past couple of weeks I have already been to the local hospital for a mammogram. Yesterday I got the results from the biopsy the dermatologist took and it was basal cell carcinoma so I'm scheduled to have a MOHS procedure on Monday, March 6. Yee haw.
Right now I'm sitting here doing nothing, but I will have to get busy soon. I need to put some stuff away before the cleaning lady comes tomorrow. And I'm going to make Potato soup and cornbread for dinner tonight.
I'm hoping that we won't get the snow and ice they're calling for tomorrow. I'm supposed to have dinner at the local Mexican restaurant with about 5 ladies including my boss.

Kevin has had a few of those. I have my first dermatologist appt on Friday. I didn't spend nearly as much time in the sun as Kevin did when he was growing up. He & his sister were on the local community pool swim team starting at age 7. They would be at the pool from 7am - 8 pm every day. That apparently was also the era of baby oil and/or iodine used as suntan "lotion"melon59 wrote: ↑January 24, 2023 10:17 am Today's my day off and in keeping with the medical test theme of the past couple of weeks I have already been to the local hospital for a mammogram. Re: Nat’l Beer Can Appreciation TUESDAY Day @ the MSC
I can't tell you the last time I had a can of beer.... way back in my youthful days, I guess.
My favorite source is on tap (which technically is from a "can" I 'spose), and then from a bottle, but I'll pass if canned beer is the only choice.
Probably just mental, but that's me!
Since I don't appreciate beer cans, I'll appreciate MsMolly instead....
HAPPY B'DAY MOLLY!

Morning BNers
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I appreciate them.
It is a stormy day. Seems to have rumbled about all night and is continuing today. It seems to be bad weather almost e very year on my Bday, but it is appropriate. According to history, I was born during the biggest ice storm Cushing, OK had.
I haven't had a can of beer since we lived in Tulsa, OK and I could have 6 Oz cans of 3.2 beer. Lol No, I am not a beer drinker.

I just got an email from the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center about a presale for Kansas's 50th anniversary tour. I was never much of a fan of Kansas, maybe they have 2 or 3 songs that I like, so I'm not interested in going but the presale starts tomorrow and the concert isn't until January 13, 2024. I've gone to hundreds of concerts over the years but I never bought tickets a year in advance. Or 12 days short of a year, which is what this would be.

Yep, my favorite Aunt was only 9 years older than me and I was her live baby doll. She practiced everything on me, like she shaved the hair off my arms to practice for shaving her legs. And I remember her mixing up baby oil and iodine and laying me on a blanket in the back yard all day rotating me every half hour like a freaking rotisserie chicken It didn't work....I'm extremely fair, like I glow at the beachSaltx3 wrote: ↑January 24, 2023 11:05 amKevin has had a few of those. I had MOHS surgery many years ago on my face. I used to have pics but they got lost between too many computers. It wasn't pleasant but it got rid of the basal cell cancer.Saltx3 wrote: ↑January 24, 2023 11:05 amKevin has had a few of those. I have my first dermatologist appt on Friday. This is a holiday I can support!
Has anybody seen my phone? I thought I left I on the bar last night.
