Good morning!
Maybe not where you’re at, but here we’ll be getting an all day soaker worthy of turning the grass from brown to green today. Guess it fits in with a Monday.
Enjoy your Monday “Funday” everyone

Morning BNers

We are on the road..... :(
Not my idea but when the driver yells All Aboard, guess I better get my seat belt on.

No idea what Ian is going to do, but we don't want to wait around and find out.

Astro won last night in extra innings. While we have been gone, Astros won their 100 game.

Good morning gang. We had rain and it's cool, so no outdoor fun, but it's a good to eat. I had blueberry crepes with bacon for breakfast. A late lunch is promising.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Soggy? Not here... we just had our driest summer on record, with a total of 0.5" for the entire three months.
The weather guessers say we have a 51% chance of showers on Wednesday, I sure hope so!

Good morning/afternoon! :)

Not soggy here - next few days are sunny and in the 80's. Next rain chance is Friday/Saturday.

Good weekend - just went too fast.

Safe travels, Molly!

Afternoon all.....besides some rough surf, which is always an excuse to go to the beach bar, appears that us on the panhandle portion of the Gulf Coast are going to luck out and be sparred any significant of Hurricane Ian......

Good afternoon. It's hotter and more humid than it was over the weekend so I have to rehydrate after my walk in the park. Maybe I'll have a frosty beverage.

Hi Phriends

Hurricane prep is complete here at Casa RIPH. Hoping Osceola and friends steer this sucker west of Tampa Bay. If not though, we are ready. Part of living here in paradise by the Gulf.

We do have plenty of likker though. 🤣

Have a great evening everyone.

Wishing the best for those in that area....even though a landfall is not anticipated, the right hand of a serious storm will passing and pushing water, wind and rain into the coast........hopefully it stays far enough out in the gulf to offer some relief of the real bad stuff.....

Yep. We are due here. Last close one was Charlie back in 2004. It’s both sad and funny though. So many new folks have moved here that have never experienced a hurricane. Buying up everything instead of just what they need. At least most of the stores have now imposed limits on things like water, TP, and paper products. Most stations here are running out of fuel too.

We ran out of fuel yesterday up here on the panhandle.

I did make a massive beer run yesterday, so don't blame me if there is no beer left....

Stay safe! I remember it was fIve years ago when Irma slammed into Naples and then cut through the rest of the state. Oh, and I guess we must be our son's "Emergency Contact" as we got a recorded message from Hillsborough County this afternoon explaining all the emergency evacuation procedures! He found that quite amusing!

Hope he is well.

According to our local weather guys, the only impact from Hurricane Ian will be heavy rain Friday and Saturday and wind gusts of 30-35 mph. I'm pretty well stocked on beer but I might have to get more before the rain starts Friday.

We are in a LaQuinta in Daphane, Alabama.

Didn't have any trouble getting here, but have passed quite a few electric truck caravans. Just hope everyone is safe.

This could get seriously bad......depends on how far east it wobbles and remains off shore. Hopefully it picks up speed and doesn't just hang around for hours on end.
