Good morning BN. Break out the pumpkin ale (I'll pass).
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill.....BN'ers to come!
Maybe roll out hot chocolate We're checking it at 50 heading for 59 I guess.
Went to grandson's 8th grade football last night. Started at 85 degrees. Game over after sundown at about 65. Yup, autumn in the air!

Good morning, the fog is so thick I can barely see the house across the street when I look out back. It's only 73 degrees but they're predicting record high temperatures for the first day of fall. Today's record is 88 degrees and the high is supposed to be 92.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

We had a bit of fog and rain to start the day. Drive in to work was a little difficult for a bit. Nice cool/cloudy day, but back to the 70's and 80's for the next several days.
Work is work..
Work is work..

Fall?
Seems like a Florida winter day here in Colorado. My work for the week here is completed, so just some reports to create, emails and stuff to catch up on. Found me nice little watering hole near the airport to do such in.
And just for anybody coming out this way. Stay off of 470. I just began adding my tolls together I took it today from the south side of Denver, up to the north end..$22. And I been on that road all week.

BUT - sometimes 470 is the best way to get around the nutty Denver traffic.

Re: Fall is Here THURSDAY@ the MSC
We set a record high today but it was only 90 degrees, not 92. We made up for missing the 92 degree mark by having a heat index of 100.
Hurricane Fiona is far enough out at sea that it isn't a threat to the Carolinas but because of the size and strength of the storm we have a high surf advisory until midnight tomorrow. I took a ride to the state park and walked out on the fishing pier, I thought I'd see some big swells rolling in and 6+ foot waves crashing on the beach. What a letdown, the ocean was so calm it looked like a lake. Nobody was catching any fish either. But I did see a couple get married on the beach. Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and see if there's any change, I have an annual state park pass so I can go as often as I want to.

Hi there! I drilled balls.
They are wooden balls,
spacers for the signpost arrows I'm making.
I slid them on a rod to see that they fit and thought, "What's this remind me of? "An Abacus!

Ah, okay. A car went past me this morning about the same time you mentioned, and was exiting 470 from I25.
