oh for pete's sake! What would be so funny about a bunch of critters waking up to a mess of beer/liquor bottles laying around, panties strewn about, with headaches and half-asss smiles on their faces wondering what they did the night before?????? All while Nurse Louie is handing out alka seltzer and aspirin yelling that they drank too much!
cuz you know, she wouldn't be involved in anything like that
Hmmmmmmm ..... perhaps ... maybe ...... nah (and I'll leave it to someone else* to complete the song) * Bits?
Friday at the Cove Beach
Not much goin' on
New Year's Eve is over
2010 has just begun
But the twitter bums are tweeting
With the tales from late last eve
Cause the rumors bear retweeting
What should we believe?
Chorus
Put it on the Critterville Twitter Path
Comic stripper lunacy's such a mess
Put it on the Critterville Twitter Path
In one-forty characters or less

No big deal. Nothing dramatic here. In these days of company RIFs, any opportunity for more responsibility and more work is a *good thing*. Looks like I have to take on some new additional responsibilities and an additional team of employees to manage. More travel and here's the kicker, my days of telecommuting may be ending ..... I have to be in the office every day starting tomorrow.
That all adds up to less BuffettNews time and less time to be creative (write a comic strip and support the family of websites that go along with it). I've been writing the comic strip fresh each day. I usually save an hour or so each evening to write the next day's strip. I'll have to figure out a way to adjust to my new workload. Like I said, my family and career have to come first ... then I'll figure out a way to sneak in BN and Critters fun. I'm counting on the greater BN Critters family to step up and understand.
I was wondering when the Critters would start "adventuring" on Island Time. No worries, SP. Gives us more time to gossip about them, come up with devious plans as to why they do the things they do, and probably give you enough fodder that you won't be able to sleep at night... (that's why you love us, right???)
PetalMel probably wants to know if it is really possible for a group to do/see a show in Ft. Lauderdale, declare "It's 180 miles to Key West, it's dark, and our driver (GodSpeed ShrimperDon) is wearing sunglasses. And is sober. Let's Do It!!!", and wake up to a 'northerner' frolicking in the Atlantic Ocean at Smathers Beach. Or if it was a dream... Not that the particular day was an adventure
There's been a series on one of the educational channels (History? Discovery?) called "Life After People" about what would happen in the world if all the humans were to suddenly disappear. How about life in the world if the Critters were to suddenly disappear?
Oh wait — you're trying that now, aren't you?

I miss writing the BN Critters. I really do. I honestly don't know how I did it almost nonstop for 22 months. I hope to get back to it soon.

p.s. back last month when we were in the midst of our *Critter House* movie storyline,
I started working on a movie poster.

me too....BN just isn't as Buffetty without 'em. Happy Anniversary to the Critters, and to their creator/head writer/Manager/babysitter (I know Duckett can be a handful, can't imagine trying to get all of Critterville Cove to behave so you can get a strip out...even if only on island time )
