Final WEDNESDAY of January @ the MSC
Good Morning!
Holy Moly -- it actually is the last Wednesday of the month! How funny it is that as you age the time seems to go much faster and everything else goes much slower (like our walking speed) .

Good morning, Linda. Time flies when you get old.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Pholks!! Seems we were just saying it's the last "fill in the blank" of 2022
Actually supposed to get SNOW today. Calling for 3-5..so ALL of the schools are closing up as they haven't had to use any snow days this year. (cue up the Back in my day). I guess they are talking of wind gusts that will make the blowing snow a bit more of a pain.
Enjoy your hump day everyone!

Closing for 3-5" of snow?? I'm with you on the "back in my day".. and here in Colorado, there might me a delayed start, but no closures!
Oh, and good morning Linda, Bill, Ken, and Deb!
New scam in my email this morning... for $581 purchase I made through PayPal. If I had any questions, call the "toll-free" number listed. Which is actually a Hawaii area code. My account is fine, but I always imagine the people who fall for this crap.
Anyway, off to do some work stuff...

Good morning. It's supposed to be 70 degrees today so no snow here but it's going to rain. Thunderstorms with wind gusting up to 35mph. I was going to go to World Of Beer, I haven't been there in about 6 months and they give double points in the rewards program on Wednesday, but I think I'll stay home today.
If the forecast was for 3-5 inches of snow, the schools would be closed the day before the snow storm. But they don't have the equipment to deal with snow on the roads and a lot of people here can't drive when the sun's out, snow just makes them drive worse.

Re: Final WEDNESDAY of January @ the MSC
We woke up to about 4" of snow this morning. Bryan made his way safely to work and I made it to the main road but a cop had the road blocked off. There was no way I was going to take the back county roads so I called my boss, turned around and came back home.
We had a girls dinner planned for tonight and we're going to play it by ear.
Right now I'm thinking a nap sounds great

Afternoon BNers
After the BIG storms yesterday, it is 49 degrees! I know, no snow but it was 80 not long ago. Stupid weather.
We didn't have any trouble here but the southern areas had tornado damage.

You keep that up, and they may ban you from being within a 100 yards of an Elementary School or a Chuck E Cheese.

Ha! I've painted a number of keets including the one on the right of the photo. I did a shark on her tummy. A dozen people gathered around her as she rolled her stomach, the shark appeared to be swimming. It was awesome!
