Seems like it's bad everywhere. Sit down and have a drink. Hunker down. :pirate:

Good morning.. Super hot and dry again in NE Florida today.. They're talking about temps in the 100s over the weekend with little humidity. The fires have already started.. When did spring in Florida become fall in California?

Hey folks!

Nothing exciting going on in this part of Pennsylvania. Getting some winds with more severe T-storms coming in this afternoon. Glad our son's family got most of their things moved into the new house since they are using an open trailer :o

On the work front we've got a drug-related criminal trial in it's 2nd day. Possession with intent to deliver 1,000 bags of heroin. There's a boat load of people in the gallery and yesterday the judge kicked one guy out because he was making faces at the witness.

Morning kids. We’ve had a few freaky days of weather. Sunny one hour then rain for 10 minutes, then back to sun and wind. Woke up to gray sky’s this morning and that’s just fine by me. Working in the school all day today.

Greetings from Sunny San Diego...NOT
Yes we are in SD but no it is not sunny. Or warm....ugh. None of us brought enough warm clothes.....brrrrrr

Going to put on as many clothes as we can find and head to the zoo later.
Oh.....it won't get out of the low 60s...61 now and 50% chance of rain.......

But, we are going to make the best of it.

Good morning. It's 80 degrees and humid and the long range forecast is for high temperatures of 85-90 well into next week. No rain in the foreseeable future.

I was thinking of going to another baseball game at CCU, the tournament is still going on until Sunday, but it was hot and humid yesterday and it's supposed to be even hotter today. Maybe I'll go to Hooters for lunch and use whatever's left on my gift card.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Long post, but totally worth the read!
Today is my day off. I had a list of things to do, which I accomplished. Been home ALL day. Brushed the big hairy beasts. Cleaned the kitchen. Swept the floors. During this time, I started hearing lawn mowers, which is not unusual. We have one neighbor who pretty much cuts his grass every other day! (Go Ed 🚜)
The other neighbor cuts an old unused driveway behind the woods in back of the house maybe 4 times a season. Didn't pay much attention as I was busy with my chores. I mopped, put down the clean rugs and was ready to go get a much needed shower and I saw some man ready to knock on the door with a clipboard in his hand. I opened the door and must have had a wth look on my face and he said, am I at the wrong house? Me: Yep, pretty sure ya are. (Beacon busts outside, I have Charley by the collar which she slips out of) Beacon won't come, I'm in stretch Capri pants, t shirt and no bra. Not to mention, yesterday's make up which includes probably 1/2 of one eyebrow, and no hair. 😂😂😂Niiiice. Anyway, I get the collar on Charley, Beacon still won't come, the guy is freaking out...is he gonna bite me? I look past him and see an unfamiliar lawn tractor. I said, uh no he won't bite and our name is Yost. Sorry, I heard the tractor and thought it was my neighbor. Him: Yeah, he's mowing too. I get Beacon to finally come inside, and he says well, I did unload and everything. (Like it's MY fault I didn't see him and that he can't read the big white numbers on the green plate on the mailbox post) Now, you wanna know the real tragedy???? Bryan cut our grass freaking yesterday!!! 😂😂😂😂 The dude, didn't notice it didn't need cut?😳 The dude didn't think to come to the door BEFORE he started the job?😳 It's a shame he didn't come next week....Bryan wouldn't mind a free cutting!

Hi there! Vermont and New Hampshire were sunny and all the brooks were babbling. I even saw trout fishermen. I over ate on fried clams and took a nap. We were heading for the beach, but rain is soon upon us.

Great story, Tammy! Anne read an article where a man had his broken into and cleaned. He left the back door unlocked. Police think a cleaning service got the wrong address. :)
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Maybe I'll get lucky and come home to a clean house someday!!! Enjoy paradise for me! Love to Miss Anne.

:o :o :o    I was worn out reading that!!!

Long, but good day at work.. despite a lot of obstacles.
The cold and cloudy weather is FINALLY clearing. Not been pleasant, but SO not as bad as what's going on in Oklahoma where E's parents, brother, SIL, and nephew live. And I have several DIRECTV friends live. :(

Looking forward to a 3 day weekend. Haven't had a holiday day off since New Years Day. SO different than working in an 'office' environment.

G'night friends. :)

We were at the zoo almost 8 hrs and walked 6 miles....all uphill. Oh my.
The sun finally broke through and we had a nice day but it didn't get to mid 60s. Too chilly for me but I'm glad I brought a Mickey hoodie.
