Good morning. There's a restaurant here in the Detroit airport called Gordon Biersch. We have one in Myrtle Beach too and they have some good beer. It's open now but I think 7:30am is a little early to start sipping.

what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

There is 1 of those in NOLA. I had never heard of it but it was stumbling distance from our hotel so we tried it the 1st day. Loved it & went back each day! Really good risotto balls & great selection of beer. It's NOT to early...LIPH wrote:Good morning. There's a restaurant here in the Detroit airport called Gordon Biersch. After flying all night I'm way too tired, and lazy, to make anything to eat. Time for Hooters.

Good afternoon all. Gonna be a record high for this day in central PA. I drove around in my car with the a/c running.
The farmers market near Spooky Nook (Kevin and Linda know where that is) was packed.

We know Spooky Nook! That's the road towards the hotel we use at Parrotfest. Our Fall has peaked. The brilliant maple leaves are on their way down from strong winds today. I tried fishing, but it was leaf soup in the river.big john wrote:Good afternoon all. Gonna be a record high for this day in central PA. I drove around in my car with the a/c running.

Afternoon BNers
Ya'll are talking about Fall leaves and it is still in the 90s here every day. Suppose to be a cool front heading this way....wondering if it will knock the temps down to 88?![asa [smilie=asa.gif]](./images/smilies/asa.gif)

Re: Tuesday by the Bay @ the MSC
It's in the 80s here, big difference from last Tuesday morning when it was in the 40s when I left for the airport.
My waitress at Hooters told me some of the streets in her neighborhood are still closed because of flooding from the hurricane.

Don't forget to make your reservations for 2017....with that Nook all the hotels get filled up far in advance - especially since we moved our Fest from February to April
