Now that JB has announced that a new online Margaritaville game is coming to Facebook, iPad, etc. will you be playing??????

I was off Facebook for while. I just went back on so I'm ready when it comes out. I'll give it a shot until it becomes an addiction.

I am already playing ...... in ... my ... mind.
I am a Level 3 Surfmaster with the ability to bend water and cloud women's minds.
I have acquired 6 Talismans of Tequila. 4 more and I will gain the Ability to Summon Bartenders.

I was up to a Level 4 Surfmaster, but I lost a battle with a Level 6 Siren with the Power of Boobies.
She was powerful indeed and wore the tradition garb obtained from the Secrets of Victoria.

This is waaaaaaaay better than Dungeons and Dragons.

No Chance...

Firstly I have spent every day of my working life, over the past 20+ years, sitting in front of between 1 and 4500 computers (yes 4500). So the last thing I want to do is have a fictional social life through a computer, facespace, mybook , twooter etc are all things I have never even seen.

Secondly, I do not have nor do I need an ipad.

So I guess these things counts me out..........

I don't believe so.

The fact is I use BN for its informational value and for a modicum of entertainment. Given that I am currently sitting 8001 NM (14,817 Km or 9206 Miles) from Duval St in Key West means it is unlikely that I will meet and/or have any sort of relationship with any other BN'er then the 'social' side is pretty moot.

Although I support the vast majority of Jimmy endorsed items I'm afraid I'm gonna sit out this dance.
I don't play facebook games. As many of you have mentioned they want too much access to my information, also I believe that they are one of the biggest spreaders of viruses.
So Jimmy I'll just listen to my CDs while using my Frozen concoction maker wearing old tour T shirts etc and not play the Margaritaville game.
Also there are a couple of other points that have just occurred to me. (1) Being a parrothead is not a contest, Its a lifestyle and shopping adventure where you get to hang out with some really cool people. And (2) I remember hearing years ago in radio ads for Jimmy's concerts where he tells the crowd "People ask me "Where the Hell is Margaritaville anyways?", "And I tell'em its anywhere you want it to be.".
And that sacred place to me is not a game on Facebook.

I'd have to see the game. I usually avoid online games like the plague, but if it's a good way to kill a couple hours on my iPad, which I'm hooked on, then I will probably give it a whirl. I'm assuming, of course, that it will be more entertaining with a couple of boat drinks down the hatch already...
