Hey brother, I actually won’t be at Great Woods this year. I think this is the 3rd year in a row I’m out. Last year was Covid. Year before that I forget. Next year I’m all in.TommyBahama wrote: ↑July 27, 2021 8:35 amI only hear about Providencetown having the mask mandate from an uptick from the 4th of July weekend. I haven't heard it spreading to other towns and causing a mask mandate. Watch what happens at Fenway. The only gauge we have between now and the show. We are 21/2 weeks to the show. I don't see a cancellation or date change happening.drunkpirate66 wrote: ↑July 26, 2021 3:20 pm I hate to be the guy that brings this up but has anyone heard anything about potential show cancellations or any new rescheduling now that this “delta variant” appears to be causing new government imposed regulations . . . or at least it’s being strongly discussed that there will be regulations imposed in the near future?
Some tourist communities in Massachusetts, one of top 2 most vaccinated states I think, have reinstated in door mask rules. Provincetown is one of them.

Hey, my Pirate Brother. 2019 I thought I saw you there. I know 2018 was Fenway. Last year, nobody went, so that doesn't count as a miss.drunkpirate66 wrote: ↑July 27, 2021 12:34 pmHey brother, I actually won’t be at Great Woods this year. Holy sh*t! Will this be the fourth year? Doesn’t sound like me. I wasn’t at Fenway in 2018 either. I’m such a slacker. Just not the same since Great Woods started opening the lots at 1pm. I’ve done Jones Beach and Cinci over the last few years.

Jimmy is such a health nut (I’ve heard). With new CDC regulations I wouldn’t blame him for moving these shows. I hope he doesn’t. But with this new surge it’s very easy to imagine this tour, much like 2020, is effected.TommyBahama wrote: ↑July 27, 2021 8:35 amI'm thinking Tampa or Orlando.LIPH wrote: ↑July 26, 2021 4:25 pmI went to the last of the 3 Nashville shows 10 days ago and I don't have tickets to any other shows this year. I wonder what happens with GW with the sudden spike. Or will mask be requires. He would have to make the call soon , if he was to move it.drunkpirate66 wrote: ↑July 28, 2021 11:57 amJimmy is such a health nut (I’ve heard). Thankfully Mass. is not one of the places that is seeing a big spike so that's a good sign.

Jazzfest just got canceled.
Hopefully that’s it for cancellations. Time to move on, in my opinion.

At least we got GW in. Orange Beach could become a possibility next year.drunkpirate66 wrote: ↑August 17, 2021 3:45 pm Both Alabama shows and Arkansas rescheduled to June 2022.
