Yeah, it's boils down to, am I leaving at noonish to be there at 1ish. Or am I leaving at 3ish and getting there at 4ish. And at that point is it worth doing the 30 min of setup, LOL. I guess I'll start stalking the weather starting tonight.Dr.Corona wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 3:08 pmI hear ya.... Weather guessers showing 51% chance of rain at 1:00-2:00 Thursday. That’s as far as hourly forecast goes It’s gotta keep decreasing from there, right??!!ParrotheadCMC wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 2:38 pmTHe forecast is making me rethink being any version of a shark girl as I'm sure I'll be soaked and need to change. Also making me debate taking off a 1/2 day. Do we think the masses will still be doing a long tailgate? I know the BF isn't tailgating in the rain for very long. UGH!Dr.Corona wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 2:04 pm According to hourly weather channel reports, from 7 pm tonight until 6 am Thursday morning better than 90% chance of rain the entire time which leads to a Flood watch the entire time.
Wondering if Jimmy may petition for Surfboards or boats to be allowed into the parking lot......
WHY CAN'T WE HAVE FRIDAY'S forecast? I keep hoping some how that happens!!!

He sent email, & said they responded to his email within minutes. Said everything went pretty seamless. He said you had to buy new tickets, then get refunded your original purchase. It came through within 2 days I believe he said.
You didn't have to go that route a few years back. You just contacted them & they canceled your old tix, issued you new tix.
That's what we did and no answer back from them since we bought the other tickets....Facebook is littered with p*** off people who can't get answers from ticketmaster over refunds for lots of concerts.
No one is home at ticketmaster.
Hoping like hell the weather takes some crazy turn....really hoping for a good show. You were probably right about dead and company and the near sell out...it was a beautiful Friday night not a soggy Thursday.
Hey I'll take it though after the past two years.
Fingers crossed for "turning around". Maybe the small crowd and rain will encourage jimmy to throw the setlist out and just play whatever comes up good or bad

Did they do a swap without a new billing on the better seats or did you have to purchase new tix & they issue a credit on the old ones??WVParrothead wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 4:13 pmI've had success pulling up the order on the website and then using the "Live Chat" function to talk to someone.

Whenever I've exchanged with Ticketmaster before they've done all the work and processed the exchange while live-chatting with them. They normally do charge a $10 exchange fee per ticket so if you didn't have to pay that, you got one-up on them. lolDr.Corona wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 6:05 pmDid they do a swap without a new billing on the better seats or did you have to purchase new tix & they issue a credit on the old ones??WVParrothead wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 4:13 pmI've had success pulling up the order on the website and then using the "Live Chat" function to talk to someone.
And yes, I'll be coming up from West Virginia. Plan on getting in to town Wednesday afternoon. Wanted to go to Tigers game at 1:00 to knock that park off my list but weather looks even worse tomorrow than Thursday. If it gets rained out, I plan on spending a few hours at MGM Casino/Sportsbook in the afternoon.

It takes them a few days, which makes you SWEAT! But I did it twice for this show. Refund #1 posted the same time tickets #2 posted on my account. I haven't checked on refund #2, LOLDr.Corona wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 6:05 pmDid they do a swap without a new billing on the better seats or did you have to purchase new tix & they issue a credit on the old ones??WVParrothead wrote: ↑September 21, 2021 4:13 pmI've had success pulling up the order on the website and then using the "Live Chat" function to talk to someone.

that's the plan especially if the weather acts up like it is today. Not gonna lie. I am irritated at the forecast. It would be nice to not have to put long johns on under my Hawaiian shirt.......Dr.Corona wrote: ↑September 15, 2021 10:41 pmThe way it’s looking you’ll be able to shuffle down another 10 rows once the show gets rolling...

What is everyone's plan looking like for getting into the parking lot? I probably won't be there much before 4:30 since the girls and I all have to go to school tomorrow Stupid responsibilities.......
Is the grassy knoll where people plan to be? I would love to get a group pic if we can pull it off and meet a few more BNers.
Hoping the weather gets done tantruming and the sun comes out for a while. I know that is wishful thinking, but it is Bubba, so anything is possible

Not sure about the grassy knoll as it may be the muddy knoll. Nonetheless, all for the group(er) photo if we can pull it off.
We are poopers this year. No tailgate gear other than chairs if we get a break in the rain. We're leaving the homestead at 3:00. Stopping at Bullfrog's for drink & a bite to eat by 3:30. Presume we'll be outta Bullfrogs by 4:30 at latest. Should be at PK by 5:00.
Don the rain gear & go walkabout hopefully.
I can reach out to you by text MJ once we get down there & see if our paths can cross.
Have a fun day at work!
