I got your Simpsons reference! Ohh yeah!

The song I always skip (and was so glad he did not play in Columbia) is "Autour du Rocher." I'm also not a big fan of "Altered Boy." Not sure what is going on with those two songs.

I think to make a "Worst Song List", a song should be so bad that you hit the skip button on the cd player. I can honestly say I don't ever do that with Jimmy music simply because I don't like a song. There are songs that are so great tho that sometimes I will skip TO them...

The only song I would put on this list is "Elvis Imitators". It is the only song I have ever skipped over.

There are no bad Buffett songs, in my opinion. This has been a pretty interesting list to read though. :D

Gravity Storm is an awsome song!!! along with all of Barometer Soup and Banana Wind.

I would have to say:
Sea Cruise
Pacing the cage -- (can't stand it....along with most of BHOTM)
Off to see the lizard
Nautical Wheelers.

Wow...Rockefeller Square is a great old one, Dreamsicle is a classic and
Permanent Reminder Of A Temporary Feeling is one of the better ones of his past couple album's. But everyone is right, Math Sucks, well, sucks. It was an attempt to make another big 'crowd favorite'. But you can't blame Jimmy for tryin, he's been right alot more than he's been wrong

Worst song is such an ugly phrase. Maybe "The song you hit SKIP on", should be the question. But I will agree with "Elvis Imataors"

My head hurts, my feet stink..., is one of my favorites it's a reminder of a temporary feeling. Railroad Lady reminds me of the days when trains went through Livingston and near Ringling Montana.

Fool Button and Elvis Imitators are my two least favorites

OK possibly the worst Buffett song ever, in my opinion, What If The Hokey Pokey Is All It Really Is About? .... I mean come on, I think I'm about as big of a Buffett fan as you can find, and this is just plain terrible.

Man, Nautical Wheelers? I know everyone's different, and we all have our own opinions? But Nautical Wheelers as one of the worst? Man.....Not in my book

Bad Songs

Post by Markfitz82 »

Is there such a thing as a bad Buffett song?? Of course not; you must not be a true parrothead. The Poet Song is one of the best slow cruz'n songs. I wish he'd play it live.

Keep it rocking!!

Markfitz82...Believe me my friend I'm as true of a Parrothead as you'll find, and yes, sad to say, Buffett has done some bad songs. As I mentioned earlier the Hokey Pokey song...Can anyone honestly say they like that song? I love em all, I really do, but there have been 2-3 along the way that just haven't been very good...

I actually take that back about "off to see the lizard"

Please replace that with: School boy heart, and UGH!: ~ Destination Samba

Interesting thread and comments. I like most everything Bubba does....some don't make it on my favorites playlist or CD's I burn, but I can't think of any that just make me wince.

A bad Bubba song beats most of the stuff that gets radio play - - hands down!!!

Bad Jimmy?

Post by kidmom »

This was a great topic - I personally can't stand on albums:

The City
Desdemona
You'll never work in dis business

But I don't think I have heard a bad live song (well, maybe The City - just don't like that one.)
If It all Falls Down falls down falls down
I can warm a crowd I can make them shout
I can juggle verbs adverbs and nouns
I can make them dance till they all fall down
