Today was my lucky day...47 years ago (when I was still quite naive) Bryan and I went on a date roller skating and he asked me to "go with him". I've been following him ever since

He gave his 2 weeks notice today and will start his new job as a claims specialist for State Farm. The best part is he gets to work from home! His current commute is about 90 minutes.

Well, this is heart warming! Congrats to Bryan on the job !

And love that Rockefeller Center is doing a roller rink when the ice rink is out of season. Does anyone else still have their satin baseball jacket?

Is the roller rink just a temporary thing for a few weeks or will it be there until they put the ice rink back up in November (or whenever they put it up)? When I worked in 30 Rock they always used to have an outdoor bar and restaurant in place of the skating rink for the spring and summer.

It's all season! Definitely checking it out on next trip down to NYC/NJ to visit the fam. Even found my leather pants! LOL
