Re: Don't Worry bout a thing FRIDAY @ the MSC
Late check in for me today.
I was awake at 4 a.m. and never went back to sleep; even went downstairs to lay on the big comfy sectional but that didn't help either. So I did a few quiet things
4:45 I got on the work laptop and emailed the list of 121 cases that we were addressing at 10:30 to 40 attorneys. That 90 minute session was yet another circus.
Our church Community Group of 5 couples that meets 2x a month is going through a book called "Fearless".....it's very interesting how fear can control our lives. One great quote is "fear is worry on steroids"

Amen, BN brother. I told myself 100+ times this week to just heads down, mouth shut, and take another step closer to May 2023, hopeful retirement. None of this work cr*p is worth the stress.Dr.Corona wrote: ↑January 28, 2022 7:18 am Good Morning Gang!
As I listen to Radio Margaritaville this morning I'm inspired by Mr. Marley singing "this is my message to you"......
Of course reality is we do have our worries, but at the very least we need to remember to try and make an effort to not sweat the small stuff.
It's really not worth it.
Happy Friday all

Good Friday afternoon BNers.
Mid 40's this afternoon, driving the 1/2 mile to my brother's for a frigid Friday happy hour, on the patio outside, listening to radio Margaritaville, what comes on but Boat Drinks. Appropriate.

I wondered about the rollator too. I've seen them in action. Well-engineered and really helps with mobility.
I spent 2 hours painting a shark mural. I should have worn an old shirt. Tape on the hanging 3.5x12 foot paper gave way, the painting started falling and I got paint on my sleeve. It washed out.
Pres. Biden came to Pittsburgh to push the infrastructures bill AND A BRIDGE COLLAPSED.
What did you do to that bridge, Michi?

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

You should go!springparrot wrote: ↑January 28, 2022 1:59 pm Afternoon BNers
46° here but feels colder. Maybe we should go to Jamaica? Still haven't made the final decision.
We could get WINTERY MIX tomorrow.
When would you leave if you go? Just thinking flights are gonna get more expensive the closer you get.
