Good morning. There's a winter weather advisory for the inland areas of the county I live in, they could get freezing rain and ice tonight and tomorrow. Along the coast the temperature is supposed to be in the high 40s-low 50s so we should be OK. Except for the 2 1/2-3 inches of rain in the forecast. No rain yet but it's very overcast.
The Hurricanes have an afternoon game today and I was thinking of going. I checked TicketMaster last week and I could have gotten a ticket in the upper level for $32. Raleigh is more than a 3 hour drive so I would have stayed overnight, there's a Sheraton hotel walking distance from the arena. I'm glad I decided not to go. Parts of North Carolina may get over a foot of snow, although the forecast for Raleigh is only a few inches. The I-95 corridor is supposed to get ice and freezing rain and part of the trip is on I-95. I'll watch the game from the comfort of my couch.

Re: Beautiful SATURDAY @ the MSC
I'm on the border with rain and snow line. All rain by monday morning for me.
However, with all storms this could change and head to ocean and pull in all snow for me.

It's 22 degrees here. My BFF texted me the weather guessers forecast for next week and said to pack a sweatshirt. I told her that it still looks waaay better than here! Bryan got us checked in online, so we are good to golime rickie wrote: ↑January 15, 2022 9:34 amJealous. It's 2 degrees here. Sarasota is sounding pretty darn good.

Good morning BN. Five of us took 2 trailers around town picking up street light displays. One volunteer is 89 years young. It was cold, but dry, which makes the job easier.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

My dad is about 40 min west of Raleigh. He said the guessers are calling for a mixed bag of precipitation with wind gusts 20-30mph. I think staying on your couch was an excellent plan!LIPH wrote: ↑January 15, 2022 10:04 am Good morning. We’re heading out tonight to hear local musician/friend Heather Vidal. (Check her out on FB or internet at heathervidalmusic)
She was just in KW for a few gigs and is NOT happy to be home. Except for her S/O who is back here.

Re: Beautiful SATURDAY @ the MSC
We're supposed to get all 3. Starting around 1pm as snow, changing to sleet/freezing rain & ending with heavy rain around 7pm. I get off at 7 so I'm hoping the rain starts a little earlier & washes away whatever's on the road
But tomorrow is my Friday so as long as I can make it til 7, I really don't care what it does after cuz I WILL make it home

Of course your post made me curious....So Dennis is a full time Floridian now?
Tropical Soul was one of the first "Trop-Rock" bands I got onboard with back 10-12 years ago. Love listening to Heather & Dennis at the Meeting of the Minds.
Have fun guys!

Good Afternoon BN!
The day is off to a reasonably good start: Quantum Theory finished second at Gulfstream Park, Provocateur finished second in the Pasco Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs and we got the Christmas decorations taken down and boxed up.
DU hosts Omaha tonight. Puck drops at 6:00.
