Windy Wednesday in the MSC 11/24

Post by Elrod »

Good Morning BN!

It's "a little breezy" on the plains of western Kansas this morning. The Queen and I will be back on the road this morning, heading to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Gang!
Safe travels to the Ester's & others traveling this holiday weekend!
Officially on watch the clock alert today at work so of course I expect it to go by slowly. Looks like I'll have to work Friday so Maybe I'll sneak out early today if it's dragging too much.
Enjoy your Windy Wednesday everyone 8)

Good morning. It was a little chilly along the coast, 36 degrees when I woke up. It's all the way up to 41 now.

Good Morning Everyone!

I am one of the few 45 Judicial staff (including judges) working today. As in I think there's a total of 6 of us on the 3rd and 4th floors. At least it's quiet :)

Afternoon BNers

Not sure, but I might live. :)
Not sure how many days this has been going on, but I have been down and out with a virus (I think).
Ugh.
It hasn't been fun but let me say that everything that went down, has come back up.....🤢🤮😵
So far, so good today but I will know when I am up awhile. Looks like Thanksgiving dinner will be up to my guys. ❤

And we have a cold, wet front on the way...
Oh boy.
I might just stay in bed.....

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, peeps. Home from last chemo (for this go-round, anyway).

Turkey is in the brine. Most sides prepped and ready. Mr. Lime is baking pies. Life is good. 8)

Safe travels to those who are.

Afternoon BN.

The office people had a half day holiday but, of those that did come in, I'm sure they were gone wellll before noon. Still a few more hours til I can get outta here.

(((Molly))) I sure hope you feel somewhat better tomorrow so that you can enjoy the Thanksgiving food!

Safe travels & enjoy Penny/E!

I went to work early today and got off at 3:30. Came home and made cranberry orange relish and a margarita! Bryan just got home and now I need to find something for dinner. We're not having Thanksgiving till Friday and so tomorrow we'll go to the youngest daughters house ( our old house ) and prep for Friday. Everyone is off Friday except for me. I'll just go over after work.
Have a great evening everyone!!!

Hi there! My phone rang while landing a nice fish. I don't answer unknown numbers due to solicitors, but a minute later, it rang again. I answered. Good that I did. It was Geek Squad calling to confirm an appointment. I told the agent who was coming that my new laptop wouldn't print. He told me it would be an 80$ charge. I growled I thought it would be covered. He asked, "Do you have tech support?" I said ,"Yes." He said then it would be no charge.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

This is not good news. Seems like a long time to be this sick. Maybe head to a dr soon if it keeps up too much longer?

I talked to a regular customer today and she sounded awful...I asked her if she was feeling ok and she said that she had Covid. Her first symptom was nasal congestion...
