When I got home from my nail appointment I sat down and got my Christmas Cards ready for the mail. My goal each year is to have them done by Halloween, so there's one less thing for me to stress about during the marathon that is November and December. We get really busy at the flower shop too, so with my cards ready to mail I feel a bit more in control. This year with my surgery, the move, the kitchen not being finished yet, I really feel like everything I can get done ahead the better for my peace of mind. I also typically bake lots of cookies and I'm hoping the kitchen gets finished before Thanksgiving. I have completed my shopping for the grands and all items have been delivered. All I need to do is shop my dollar store for stocking stuffers and wrap everything.
We found a twin over full bunk bed set on FB Marketplace for 150 including the mattresses so Bryan is going to be checking it out tomorrow on his way home from work. I'm excited to get it set up because the oldest daughter and grands are coming for a weekend visit next month! I'm toying with the idea of having Thanksgiving early when they are here....

Evening, peeps. 8)

The rain and wind has reached Limeville, pretty crazy out there tonight. This will bring down the pretty foliage.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

I didn't need a new tire. There was a nail in it so they plugged the hole and 20 minutes and $25 later I was on my merry way.

I'm not a fan of either team in the World Series but if I had to root for one of them it would be the Braves. The Pelicans franchise started in 1999 and for the first 10 years (before I moved here) they were in the Braves organization. When Freddie Freeman was in the minor leagues he played for the Pelicans and Brian Snitker, the Braves manager, managed the Pelicans for a couple of years.

Good evening. Avs/Vegas looking like gonna be a good one tonight. Braves in control early. So that narrows down the viewing choice for now anyway

Flipping channels here. I'll probably fall asleep on the couch with the remote in my hand.

Snitker's son is the batting coach for the Astros.

It was a tough game. Just couldn't get the bats going. Hope tomorrow will be easier. ๐Ÿงกโšพ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Nope, I just hate the rushing around to get things done...I must admit that it's much easier too since we've been drawing names for the adults...I wasn't a fan of the idea at first but it does make it easier to focus on one really nice gift.
