Getting stuff ready to pack for the Saturday Show!!! Getting nails done, and last minute shopping for food and rain gear this afternoon. Wish we had a canopy... might make a couple of calls and see if we can borrow one!

On our way to our last Sarasota meal before heading to the airport. What a great first vacation in over 2 years . Beautiful weather AND great times with 4 Bners!
Back home there are severe storms and flash floods.
Bets on getting stuck in the Charlotte airport due to bad weather in our home airport in Harrisburg, Pa?

Re: Show Day THURSDAY@ the MSC
I'm leaving for Long Island next Thursday for my high school reunion and I've been doing some searching on the 'net. I found 6 breweries within about 6 or 7 miles of the hotel where I'm staying. Two of them have the same address so maybe it's the same owners but different styles of beer? There's also a chain restaurant I never heard of, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, that brews its own beer. From the address, it's either in the Green Acres Mall or right outside and that mall is a couple of miles from the house I grew up in so it'll be easy to find. There's one I'd really like to try, it's called Long Ireland Brewing, but I won't be making the trip for that one. It's about 30-35 miles east of the airport, my flight gets in at noon and the brewery doesn't open until 3:00. I'd have time to kill, then more than an hour drive to the hotel. I like beer but I'm not making that trip.

Isn't it great to have the biggest decisions in life be where to eat and drink?LIPH wrote: ↑September 23, 2021 3:36 pm I'm leaving for Long Island next Thursday for my high school reunion and I've been doing some searching on the 'net. Evening, peeps. Gorgeous, breezy autumn day in Limeville.
Third chemo session done, nine to go. Single digits, baby. Sh!ts getting real with the side effects. Have the devils lettuce, and there are pills for just about everything, nausea, pain, etc. But there is nothing for the brain fog. Have never felt so slow and stupid.

Gurrl....take anything and everything that they can give you to get through. Just take it a day at a time or even an hour at a time whichever works best for you Hope you can feel the hugs that are being sent your way!lime rickie wrote: ↑September 23, 2021 5:56 pm Evening, peeps. I do, thank you, getting lots of good vibes from all around. Not a big pill person (surprising, I know ). But I filled everything to have it on hand just in case.melon59 wrote: ↑September 23, 2021 6:07 pmGurrl....take anything and everything that they can give you to get through. The chemo seems to be targeting my skin cancer, too. So wherever I have one of those looming is getting red and ulcerated. I was expecting to lose my hair but this is a surprise. I look like a scabby, post-apocalyptic cube ball headed zombie. Hallowe'en Walking Dead costume. Hoping that will be over quickly.

Moogli, throw some Pedialyte pops in your freezer. They help with electrolytes and rehydration for all the gastro effects and they taste better and are way more gentle than Gatorade. They help ease the mouth sores, too. I cleared the shelves of it at the supermarket and the %$#@! Walgreens in town.
