Sorry for the delay, moog. My biggest issue at the moment is heart burn. My acid reducer quit working. This the third one to loose effectiveness.

There were two doses of med and they are waiting on Dr to clarify. So this is on doctor not Walgreens But I dont take mean things back about Walgreens

The ceiling fans in the place are cranking, and pushing cold air. The bartender is freezing, and told the other worker dude that she was cold and could he turn off the fans. The dude replied, "At least it isn't too hot in here". I told her that I could stop the fans with a pool stick.

The dude turned off the fan.

I am NOT impressed with Fairbanks, as it lives up to its reputation of being the arm pit of Alaska. Big time.

The best place in town for dinner is supposedly a place call the Pump House. I went there last night but it is closed on Monday. Opens at 5:00 PM so will be making a return this evening.

We ended up having to visit multiple locations of both CVS and Walgreens in order to get a full supply of Chemo pills for my mom and my brother.

The whole cancer supply system is a Fuster Cluck. It should not be like it is.

Jealous y'all get oral. I'm getting infusions once per week.

And Walgreens can s*** a tailpipe. Doc called in the meds that are supposed to help with the chemo side effects to our Local Walgreens. Walgreens reassigned that weekend pharmacist to a much busier locale, which I get - but never updated their website or signage. So ended up having to drive 20 miles away to get them filled at the next nearest one.

How long will this take?

One infusion a week for three weeks. 14 days of pill daily anither pill I'm not sure. Plus shot for bones. Plus anti shingles med, baby apr8n and a steroid once a week for infusion. Then possible anither 7 days after a week off of daily pill lower dose.

First week steroid dose kept me awake all night like an 80s coke binge. Second week they cut the steroid dose by almost half. I was still awake all night but at least without that wired feeling. Maybe we can have a steroid party with Molly, pretty sure they keep her up all night, too.

What's up with the shingles med? Are you not eligible to just get the shingles vax?

One of the chemo meds makes you vulnerable for shingles. Good question about the shot though. I'll ask tomorrow

the "Pump House" is a very neat, clean, upscale place, and would highly recommend if in the area. Closes in mid October for the season, so need to get here quick. The rest of this hell hole, you can have.....

there are two local "Dive Bars" on the list for tomorrow. The Oasis and the Brewster.......not sure which i will hit as it will be my last day in Fairbanks before make the trip back to Anchorage on Thursday.
