Peanut MONDAY @ the MSC.
Good Morning !
It's National Peanut Day -- I think it's Larry that doesn't like (pea)nuts???
Anyway.....On September 13th National Peanut Day pays homage to mighty and tasty peanut.
Likely originating in South America around 3,500 years ago, this legume is not a nut. They grow underground, like potatoes. Since they are an edible seed that forms in a pod, they belong to the family Leguminosae with peas and beans. When it comes to plants packing protein power, peanuts provide a whopping 8 grams per ounce, more than any other nut according to The Peanut Institute. And remember, it’s not a nut! Nuts grow on trees.
The peanut is also high in antioxidants. Not only are peanuts high in vitamins E and B6, but they’re rich in minerals such as magnesium, iron, and zinc. Studies also show when paired with other nutrient-rich foods, this wonderful legume helps us absorb nutrients better, too.
Enjoy !

Good morning Linda and BN. Nice to read about peanuts. I have PB n'J several times a week.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and BN!
Out the door early - have to do that "Payroll Monday" thing - and then get Cameron to doc/ER cause that growth in the throat is back.
Had a great time with Kelli & Kevin last night.
TTFN!!

Good morning BN.
I like peanuts but have no use for peanut butter, nasty stuff. Tried it once when I was a kid and never again. I can't eat anything with peanut butter in it. I do eat peanuts with my afternoon rum drink.

Good Morning. I am definitely a peanut fan!
Just snacked on peanuts last night. Love many peanut butter porters & stout beers.
As a kid through Jr. High was a PB&J kid almost daily for quite a stretch
Not to mention a fan of the "Peanuts" TV shows & comic strips
Enjoy your Peanut Monday everybody!

Getting ready to take the big dogs to the groomer for a good brushing and haircuts. I'm tired of chasing tumbleweeds of dog hair all over the place. I'm hopeful that getting them brushed out along with the new robo vac will cut down on my aggravation. We named it George The Robot. GeorgeTr for short.
Our youngest daughter has GeorgeTc (the cat) and she and her hubby just recently had to have GeorgeTd (the dog) put down. Our new SIL had George and Donja and unfortunately they had to let both dogs go over the rainbow bridge since they got married at the end of January. It's been sad.

Good morning.
I don't like peanuts, peanut butter or any other nuts or any product made from them. And whatever clown decided to ruin chocolate by mixing it with peanut butter should be forced to listen to a continuous loop of Taylor Swift music.

Re: Peanut MONDAY @ the MSC.
And for the record, I love salted peanuts and creamy peanut butter. Especially on toast.
Thanks for the Cameron hugs... We got to the ER over three hours ago. And I just had to leave him there. They're crowded and doing minor triage in the waiting area. Was asked to wait in the car, but that's a waste of gas, since we live just 10 minutes away. They've got him on an IV with fluids, and waiting for antibiotics and steroids. I'll go back to get him when they discharge him.
Not to be too icky, but this is what his throat looks like, but double the white yuck.

Re: Peanut MONDAY @ the MSC.
I made set pieces for a live show of A Charlie Brown Christmas. The cast were high schoolers. The kid playing Schroeder had to be limber enough to sit and play the tiny piano.
