Went for my second Covid shot only to learn that I was two days early.

Your fault or their's?

they told me 28 days, which is today, but that is the minimum about of time. The appointment was actually for 30 days.

Repeat on Friday.

The bad part is that i didn't have a cold beer last night because of that. Stupid me, won't make THAT mistake again.

Good morning. All 3 of the local TV stations had their sports reporters at the Pelicans game last night, 2 of them had their weather guys there and one sent a general assignment reporter. Now that the first home game in 628 days is out of the way, they can go back to mostly ignoring the games until opening day next year. The Pelicans won but if this is the way the season is going to be it won't be much fun. The two teams combined for 11 hits and 29 strikeouts.

The Pelicans have gone to a digital ticketing system, but you have the option of printing your tickets at home. I logged into my account while I was walking from my car to the gate, showed them the digital ticket on my phone and it didn't scan. The woman at the gate tried 5 times and it didn't work. I was worried something like that might happen so I had printed my ticket before I left home. I showed her the paper ticket and it scanned on the first try. As a precaution, I guess I should print my tickets to the rest of the games I go to. Better safe than sorry.

I'm always worried about this happening! Guess some would call me old school but I always print tickets (concert, airline, etc) when I can & this is why.

When I forget my tickets I have some good pals who escort me to the ticket window at 6pm to retrieve them rather than give up our sweet spot on line to get into Great Woods parking lot at 11am and go back to the hotel to get them. That may have happened. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

If the judge was smart he would have set the bail at "one tiger".

The governor of Ohio just announced that starting May 26th (I think) for 5 weeks they are going to have a drawing for high school students who have been vaccinated for Covid for a complete 4 year free ride to any state university AND for adults over 18 who are vaccinated they'll draw for 1 million dollars for the same 5 weeks. You have to enter on a state website. Well, unfortunately I have not gotten vaccinated yet, but Bryan and the 2 daughters and the 1son in law are....I'm going to find out tomorrow at my follow up appointment when it's safe for me to get it.

Andrea, it went well.He said there is no tear, but aggravated arthritis. He shot in cortisone, told me to ice the knee and take it easy for awhile. Then, we talked fishing. He grew up in the Bronx. Here, he gets to learn fishing and he's loving it.
