Not going to be there, but was at the show at Berkeley tonight and Jimmy said he was looking forward to relaxing in Key West next week. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but keep your eyes open...

Deer Creek was looking pretty empty except for the lawn. Promoter must have dropped the prices. Just grabbed two seats for under $100...certainly better than the $160 per ticket.

Number 11....When hearing the pastor read on Good Friday "Today you will be with me in paradise" your five year old echoes "paradise!....medium rare with mustard be nice" loud enough for half the church to hear it. (and more than a few in the church chuckle) Can't read that section in the Bible ...

Some of my favorite Colorado memories involve Jimmy's tunes at special points. I love listened to Incommunicado when road biking up Independence Pass. Probably not the same Mexican restaurant, but I've eaten at a couple in Leadville. Gypies in the Palace is fun as well when I bike by Jimmy's old ...

I'd bet that Tuesday, August 11th is going to be Deer Creek in Indy!!!

My kids are beyond over the top with Buffett these days. They can name every song from this year's concert tour before Jimmy starts singing. Outside of trying to avoid the song about the hole in the ground, I've been pretty creative with things.

It has been really enjoyable to see how these latest legs of the tour have been more about Buffett music than other people's stuff. Brown Eyed Girl and Southern Cross are Buffett standards like You've Got a Friend and Handy Man are to James Taylor, but throwing in stuff like Manana, Jolly Man ...
