Who is the greatest Floridian alive?

Florida Today, a central Florida east coast newspaper has an article this morning titled, “Who is the greatest Floridian alive?”. Pictured at the top of the article are Jimmy Buffett, Janet Reno, Rapper Luther Campbell, Burt Reynolds and Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter. The recipient must have lived in Florida for at least 20 years. Called “The Fay Schweim Award”, the winner will be announced during the Florida Historical Society’s annual meeting May 22 – 25 in Mount Dora, FL.
