Jimmy left the Coast Guard schooner Barque Eagle on Wednesday. HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: Saying good bye to Jimmy Buffett, SRO, and wind make for and interesting day onboard Eagle. After morning muster, the crew and cadets watched as our guest and entertainer for the past two days left. Jimmy Buffett crawled down the jacobs ladder to a waiting 22’ RHI from Provincetown, Ma. The 22’ took Jimmy to the waiting Sea Plane and away he went. After a couple of flybys, we started small boat drills and setting sails, which took the rest of the morning. … We would like to give a special thanks to Jimmy Buffett and everybody that it took to get him onboard Eagle. It was an experience that nobody will forget for a very long time. Thanks Jimmy.
