The action – and crowds – are at Margaritaville

When you find the whitewater canoe and kayak facility in Greece, you think you’ve wandered into a Jimmy Buffett concert by mistake. That’s not just because of the particularly brutal stretch in this manmade, salt-water course that the U.S. team has nicknamed “Margaritaville.” U.S. women’s kayaker Rebecca Giddens won a silver medal Wednesday – and if not for losing five seconds in the “Margaritaville” section, it could have been gold.
