JIMMY BUFFETT “SURVIVING THE STORM – HURRICANE BENEFIT”
ORLANDO, FL–Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band will be performing a special concert on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at the T.D. Waterhouse Centre in Orlando, Florida, to raise hurricane relief funds for Florida, Alabama and the Caribbean.
“SURVIVING THE STORM – HURRICANE BENEFIT” concert is being presented and sponsored by Bank Of America, Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
As an Alabama native and Florida resident, Jimmy Buffett, whose love for the Caribbean is well known, has a deep connection to the area. This hurricane season has been especially destructive, and left many residents with damaged property or homeless.
Buffett spends much of his time in this region, and has written many songs about the unpredictability of hurricanes, volcanoes and other outbursts of Mother Nature.
