Florida author Carl Hiassen’s Newbery award-winning novel, Hoot, is filming in South Florida this summer. Jimmy is playing a small part in the movie, and he needs your help. The call is going out for a Jimmy Buffett double. A stand-in for camera framing, lighting, blocking and a number of other movie set terms that we’re not familiar with. This will require 4 days of your time, August 15 – 18, for which you will receive $125.00 / Day. Plus they eat like kings. They are looking for South Florida residents, no hotels, no airfare, just the opportunity to stand in for Jimmy. You must be of the same height, build and general appearance of present-day Jimmy Buffett.
