A: He always orders some gumbo, then a shrimp or an oyster loaf, depending on the season. We always have some peel-and-eat shrimp. Oh, yes, and crab claws. He’d never order a hamburger here or a roast beef po-boy or fried green tomatoes. He orders what we grew up eating.
