Who's going to Brooklyn (NYE) 12-31-15

Post by FinsUp6835 »

Thought I would get this going...

Anyone who lives in north jersey we are having a pre concert bash at the house then taking a private party bus to the show - round trip (door to my house to Barclay center) and tip is about 95$ a person. Anyone interested let me know!

Fins up !

I'm planning to.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

We're hoping to go. Ticket requests in through PHIP and hotel reservations (painfully expensive hotel reservations) made in Brooklyn!!

AmEx presale starts 9/21 @ 10am. If I remember correctly, in the past you didn't need a password for an AmEx presale, you just have to have an AmEx card linked to your ticketmaster account.

One has to think that 70% of the tickets are the 80$ seats and the floor is 580?

I was looking for a breakdown , i'm guessing the upper level will be the 80's and will go up from there. as you get closer to the stage.

oh, so you think that tickets will range from 80 to 500?

I read it as you either buy an $80 seat or a $580 seat

I'm sure there will be a range . Floor , lower bowl , 2nd level and 3rd level...how they break it out i'd be guessing. But I doubt lower bowl would go for 80.00 , not a Buffett ticket , and not on NYE. I could be wrong , I hope so , that would make it more affordable. I can drive down on the same night.

When this show was announced, I said if I still lived in NY I would be about as far away from the Barclays Center as I could get on New Years Eve. Looking at the ticket prices, I see that was a good decision. WTF?!?!?!?! Top price is more than double the price for Vegas, which has always been the most expensive ticket on the tour. Over $500 to hear the same old $h!t? I'm sorry, but unless it's a benefit concert he should be embarrassed to charge those prices.

I will pay no more than $150.00 each. $500 for the Floor is def. really high. NYE + Brooklyn + Jimmy + Huey = 500 floor seats.

On a positive note, I heard the acoustics and concerts at the Barclay Center are AWESOME.

Now I just have to figure out how to get there without having to drive.... We live about 20 miles north of the city - public transit on NYE is usually a mess. I was hoping to get a group of 14 to have a private party bus take us and pick us up - I am not sure if I will have 12 other people.

Agree.. These are very high. I had 4 in row 1 in the second section back on the floor for 300/ea... Passed it up for 4 in row 7 at 200 in 209..floor is tough too since youll never see over the section in front of you. Found that out pretty quickly in Pitt years ago at PNC Park- todays seats went quick tho and seeing a very high premium akready on stubhub... I can live with 209 for that px.. First show ill be at in years.
